This free parade is dedicated to the men and women in all branches of the United States Armed Forces and features patriotically decorated floats carrying all branches of military personnel and numerous businesses and nonprofits that honor and support the active and retired military. View the parade for free from throughout the downtown section of the River Walk. 

Please make a reservation at your favorite River Walk patio for prime viewing of the parade. You are also welcome to bring folding chairs and sit along the parade route. Please do not block pedestrian traffic! Come out early to secure a good spot.

The parade is approximately 40 minutes in length from when you see the first float to the last float. The parade starts at the International Center at 203 S. St. Mary’s Street.

WEATHER: The Armed Forces River Parade will happen if it rains. However, the event would be canceled if severe weather created an unsafe situation for the float riders or the public.  Unsafe conditions include but are not limited to lightning or high winds. Please check the Official San Antonio River Walk website and social media accounts for up-to-date information.
